Good and Bad in Gaming

 Good and bad in gaming

By

Games are one of the great hobbies and activities in the world. People play games for fun or learning while others record videos about games. In this article, I will focus on the game itself and not on the gaming contexts. Game players come in all ages, genders, religions, places, and makeup. The background of gamers makes the games more fun.

The gaming console can play a role in the type of games people play. There are all sorts of combinations of different categories related to the type of game and the type of game players. You really need to check out the game website for all the important information before you buy.

There are many online platforms where you can buy games like Steam or Humble Bundle. Those sites will provide you with descriptions, company videos, photos, user and non-user tags, reviews, website, company, and their public accounts. Note that the game website may not show you everything you need to know. At the very least, the gaming company will show a brief description of the marketing tone, a small number of images (5 excellent), one or two of their videos, and their public accounts. Much will give you an informative description, of their social accounts, user reviews, and videos about them.

Let’s get into what is considered the worst thing about sports. A lot of negative things about sports come from real-life people in those games, the type of games, and the types of games of the wrong person. The game can be abused but it is not always the case when the game itself is bad. It could be that it was the wrong kind of game for the wrong person. This is where the categories come in. Maybe the game has some violence. That does not make it worse; it just makes it the wrong kind of game for a seven-year-old child. Or maybe you bought a puzzle game for someone who loves action-type games. So the person who loves the action will not enjoy it, but that does not make the puzzle game bad!

Sports are not limited to nudity, drugs and alcohol, fear, gambling, and more. These different types are not good for new players and are not good for people who do not like to see such things.

Games have both good and bad sides like everything else. What matters is how good or bad those parts are. For example, some games have a negative impact on players' ability to fight. This is common in sports. Understand for most gamers this is not a big deal; however, for newly engaged or playful teenagers, this may be frustrating. There are times when you want to avoid bad sides together. There are times when good is better than bad. If this happens and there are no problems with the game itself; then the bad side is just that one small fly in your room which is not a big thing. Warning: If bad exceeds good, I would strongly recommend that you avoid that game.

Another factor that people will suspect is a game engineer or creator being represented. I have to say, the lack of representation is not limited to race, body type, and message in the game. If you are able to customize your character, then you will not have a problem with representation. There is a problem in some sports where it does not represent strong and intelligent women, a few women and men, big, small, tall, and short women and men. Notice that I did not put "men" behind women in order to be strong? That's because men in sports are ALWAYS represented as strong and intelligent.

In games featuring a strong and intelligent man, you will probably be white, tall, thin, a movie star, and a buff. You will not see him as a small, short, fat, non-buff, who looks careless, while still strong and intelligent. You see this even SMALL for women. Some women in the sport are also white, tall, thin, and strong while showing off their skin as if there is no tomorrow. You only see THESE women in MMORPG games (Multiplayer Role Playing Game) though. RPG games are designed for fantasy worlds where you fight hard against humans and animals. Yes, the female figures will be strong but they will not look strong.

In many games, when they add a character to play they always add a white male first, then a white woman, then a black man, and then a black woman. They did not really bring in people of mixed race or ethnic background. When it comes to black letters they only add one shade "black" or "American black" and not every black person in the world has that shade.

In sports, most of the characters are always thin and tall. You don't really see the characters short and small, tall and fat, short and fat, etc. There are a lot of people who are young and tall.

Then, finally, there is the psychological message of gender, race, and body type. What do I mean by the mental message? Some games send a text message about that powerful and intelligent character or something else. While in some games it can be a mental message either intentionally or not. For example, in a game, you play and you see a handful of short, fat, crazy women and their features will be a goof, mindless, and dumb ball. It may send you the message that people like him are like him. Smart, small, and tall. They did not do well in school, etc., etc. So you start to think about those things based on seeing this game over and over again, but only in other games.

Too bad that NONE of these things are true. Yes, some people are small, tall, and perhaps not so bright; but NOT EVERYONE is like this! You have some smart little ones as they all come out! You have all kinds of combinations of Smart people! Of course, all of these things about gender, race, body type, and messages are not just about sports; in movies, TV shows, commercials, etc. Happily, some of the creators of games, movies, TV shows, commercials, etc., are few in number and are making a living in the world. (Search for "the world's population by race 2016" and click the first three links if you do not believe me.)

Quick excuse sentence: I DON'T CALL ANYONE! Yes, I was shouting that. This section of the article tells you what I know, what I am learning, what I am hearing, and the experience of the games.

If you don't believe me go check out today's TV shows, movies, commercials, and games. An exhibition that can look at the positive representation of Milo Murphy's Law. Two games to be considered as a reference for good representation are OverWatch and Atlas Reactor. Now in these areas, it is much better to be represented especially gender, race and now to start body type (especially with this program). Some games add even robots and creatures as playable characters to avoid having problems with representation. This removes the problem of users who want the character to represent their actual or selected gender, race, or body type because there are now many actors that users can agree on. After all, you cannot please everyone.

Well, as I now feel sorry for myself and get rid of the bad things along the way; let's get into the best parts of the game! You have young players who are three years old and 90+ years old! Regardless of your age, race, gender, religion, culture, or geographic area, this can be good for anyone. Play can not only be fun, but also rewarding and instructive.

Profiting from playing can help teens become more confident and social. If they are playing a multiplayer online game and talking to other players around the world, this can help them get used to talking to other people outside the family and gain confidence in what they are saying. They can go from being an introvert to being a social activist! It could happen sooner or later. Even if it is not a game but a place for gamers, artists, designers, car enthusiasts, etc. to discuss; it will still help them to connect with people. Remember, though, that typing in someone's voice and conversing with someone are two different things. Teens can be very social when typing but very shy when communicating verbally.

I am like this. Before I was embarrassed to talk to people I did not know was online or offline, I am now more comfortable with it because I know how to behave and I feel confident. But when it comes to voice chat online, I am a quiet person in conversation. Opposition right! And don't forget I was on the phone with you! Earlier when the bankers said "Hello" I did not say anything, now I really respond by saying "Hello. How are you?" After that, I don't really expect to talk to them so I'll be quiet again lol. Do you see what I mean? After you have fun, usually, in time you get better at it and you are less nervous and more confident about yourself.

Another benefit of playing teamwork. Sometimes in games, the only way to win or achieve a goal is to work with one or more players. In some games, players are allowed the task to be accomplished with only one player, but it can be difficult unless you have more players than you. Sometimes certain tasks cannot be accomplished by one player and require two or more. There are times when you form a group with your friends or family to complete a goal. Sometimes you can form a group with people you do not know.

This is where it can be difficult. If it is a game where you can only make an inviting party, you can just invite your friends or family. You can work out strategies with them, feel more comfortable talking to them, and you will all agree to work together. If it is a game where there is no team plan but you can still work with others, aka free for fall, and you can talk to them there may still be a goal that can be eliminated by most players. Should you play with players you have never spoken to before if your family and friends are unable to join and really want to complete this goal?

This is not a bad thing at all! This is where you not only become social but also learn to work with other players you have never met before. If you always play with your family and friends you both know how it works together, how one thinks, etc. But if it is someone you have never met, it can be a little difficult. My brother and I grew up doing everything together without really having friends, maybe colleagues and co-workers but not real friends. So we were very used to knowing what the other one wanted or how they played etc. But when we finally did find two friends, it was very difficult to agree on many things. So if you play and work with other people now it will be easier later. My brother and I have improved our skills to work with others.

Another benefit is the patience associated with group building and recreation. After all, to be good at something, you have to do more than just keep doing it. There are many times in games where you have to wait. Just like learning from everything, you have to be patient in everything. In sports, you have to always wait for something. You need to be patient to find something, something to finish cooking, something to end death, your friends will be back in AFK (Away From Keyboard), next wave of oncoming monsters, next level of unlocking, etc., etc. I had to be patient when writing this article! So sports can help you to have more patience in sports and everyday life.

Another benefit is hand-eye contact. When playing games you should pay attention to what is happening on your screen while pressing your controller or keyboard button to do more things on your screen. If you want to move your character in that game, you have to use your keyboard and mouse or controller while watching your screen. It's like learning to type. Most of the time you should learn to type words and phrases while looking at your screen without looking at your keyboard. The same applies to sports. You need to be able to press the keys needed to accomplish what you are trying to do while looking at your screen. After all, if you pressed your keys but did not look at your screen, how would you know if you were doing it right?

Now, this is the benefit and benefit of education - memory. Games can help improve your memory. How? Let me tell you. Take what I said above about typing. People who can look at their screens and type without looking at their keyboard have something called "muscle memory". If they want to make a certain character appear on the screen they have to press that key and they do not have to look at the keyboard because they press that key many times they and their muscles remember where that particular key is. You already have muscle memory. Can you believe me? Check your keyboard now. Do you see when all the letters, numbers, and symbols are correct? Letters are not in alphabetical order. So whenever you try to type your name or something on a digital keyboard where the letter was in alphabetical order; Did it take you longer than usual to type that word and it was weird and confusing? It was. I've done it. Do you know why?

When you type or send a text to someone you know the word you want to make appear on the screen and you remember where the keys are. You may not be able to tell them in sequence when someone asks you but if they ask you to type a word you will be able to write it because you know where the keys are. For me, I know how to spell certain words when I write but maybe not how to spell orally. This is because I see this word written in front of me. Technically when we type each other we spell the words and read them in our minds. But when you speak loudly you do not see the words you just hear. Of course, when you read the text on the screen you hear it in your mind, yet you do not hear the words I am writing, but you do not hear them verbally and you see each letter forming that word. When a person spells something wrong he immediately recognizes it because it is not spelled correctly and he reads it. When someone says something without reading any letters, you only hear the word.

So games can help you build muscle memory and mental memory. If you can keep things in the game you have to remember where you put it, or if you need a recipe for something you might remember the recipe, or maybe you remember the details of something important, or maybe you remember the path through the maze. or the way home. Some games are designed to help improve your memory or the only way to improve your memory. Mom can type without looking at the keyboard but has trouble trying to navigate games.

So now let’s get into the benefits of education. One advantage of education is math. Now, the game doesn't have to have a goal to teach you the math to have math. The point of going to school is to get an education! Do not associate with people, but you can still make friends. So this applies to all games. The game does not have to always have a J goal but you can include J. Its target may be X but it may have J. In some games, you can build houses and use recipes to make things. How big do you want it to be? 30 blocks X 10 blocks X 60 blocks? Do you understand what I just said? Let me say it another way. 30 blocks on X-axis (left and right down), 10 blocks on Y-axis (top and bottom), and 60 blocks on X-axis (up and down in the air). This is how you can build a house, using math, in a game called Minecraft. With these links, it means that your house will be a rectangle with a very high roof. Let's use Minecraft again in the following example.

If you want to make 4 swords for example, what do you need? You need wood and metal. How much wood? How much metal? We'll start with the handle. You need two sticks to make a handle for one sword. One piece of wood can be turned into four planks, take two and make four wooden sticks. You want to make 4 sword handles. So how many logs do you need? One. The sword itself takes two pieces of metal. You want to make 4 swords, so how much metal do you need? Eight. See? Depending on what you do and how many of those items the recipe may cost just a few resources or just a few.

Another benefit of education is problem-solving. There are many games with or without puzzles but they can still involve solving problems. A good game for example Scribblenauts Unlimited. In this game, you go to different places solving people's problems to make them happy which gives you something to heal a person. To solve their problems, you must use adjectives and nouns to solve the problem itself or do something to solve the problem. The best part is that you can solve that problem in many different ways and there is no wrong way. Some games change based on your preferences and we call these "modes". Some paths can change, stay in the same direction, or end. So you need to solve each problem in the best way otherwise you can choose the wrong way or the wrong way.

Another benefit of education is response time. If you do not want to die in a particular game your reaction to something may be the deciding factor of survival or your grave. The more you examine your reaction time the sooner you will be able to respond to things. This can come from fighting games like MMORPG, Shooters, and PvP (Player V Player).

You do a lot of these things in games without knowing it! When you play that game you just have to do A, G, M, and S to do whatever you are trying to do, without knowing in the real world those skills are technically called B, H, N, and T too. used in 3, 6, and 9. See? So you just have to get used to using those skills in the real world.

Some games are better for a certain age or interests. Some games are for young children, some for teenagers and adults, and some for adults. Then there are games for people who love robots, cars, fashion, princesses, ice skating, etc. So games may have similar benefits, but those benefits may be better for some people than others.

Other games are used either in schools or in colleges, such as robots and even teaching subjects. I recently got a game that will teach me to read and write Japanese characters while I was still alive in the game world. Some people who do not know English now know enough to talk to English-speaking people by playing or watching English games! If you find someone who can speak, read, or write little Japanese; ask them if they have watched Anime. Many English-speaking people know Japanese because they play or watch Anime.

So when you see teenagers or grandparents playing games, do not think that they are bad. It could be helping their memory, problem-solving skills, math skills, or they could learn another language or learn more about a topic.

As you read, there are both positive and negative aspects to playing. I recommend that you have fun and safe while playing. There are a lot of games out there for every type of person and a lot of games are yet to come. Games can help you develop and teach skills that you will not only use in the game but will also use in school and in the real world. Games can help you to stay sharp and stay sharp. Enjoy playing games and stay safe!
